In his talk, “Staying Human in a World That Moves Too Fast,” Drashtant discussed his experiences in student leadership, government, and politics. With the hopes that we can all reflect on a commitment to amplifying voices, driving meaningful change, and engaging communities with purpose. Through all his experiences, he's learned three very simple things: His inner child keeps him grounded; There’s a lot young leaders aren’t told; And politics and life move fast.  But it serves us well to stay grounded in what reminds us that we're human. And to never stop seeing the people behind everything, because leadership with humanity is just management.  With personal anecdotes, Drashtant highlights that most things that seem like the end of the world aren't. And to laugh when you can, enjoy what you do - and if you need to, touch some grass. And to always remember the part of us that doesn't move fast, even if the rest of the world does.
