Paleontologists have uncovered a terrifying predator that makes even Tyrannosaurus rex look tame. Nicknamed the “hell heron of the Sahara,” Spinosaurus had a long, crocodile-like snout, conical teeth, and adaptations for hunting both on land and in water. Unlike most giant dinosaurs, it likely spent much of its time in rivers, making it one of the first known semi-aquatic predators of its size. Its hunting style and appearance were so unusual that it rewrites what we thought top predators looked like in the age of dinosaurs. Watch now to meet one of the strangest and most intimidating hunters to ever live.
