BJP leaders have alleged voter suppression and electronic voting machine (EVM) manipulation during polling in parts of West Bengal, claiming the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) engaged in unfair practices after sensing electoral defeat. BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya accused TMC workers of taping over the BJP’s lotus symbol on EVM buttons at multiple polling booths in Falta, located within the Diamond Harbour constituency, allegedly preventing voters from casting their votes.
