War, airstrikes leave Canadians stranded in Middle East

Multiple airlines have suspended flights in the Middle East because of the U.S. and Israel's war with Iran, stranding hundreds of thousands of travellers. There are currently more than 85,000 Canadian citizens and permanent residents registered in the Middle East, with almost 3,000 in Iran alone, according to Global Affairs Canada.
