Hollywood screen legend Robert Duvall has passed away at 95 years old. His publicist and his wife, Luciana Duvall, both revealed that he died “peacefully” at his home on Sunday in Middleburg, Virginia. The iconic, Oscar-winning actor and director was known for his versatility, playing numerous tough characters and classic roles, often exploring themes of faith and redemption through film. “To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything,” Luciana Duvall wrote. “His passion for his craft was matched only by his deep love for characters, a great meal, and holding court. For each of his many roles, Bob gave everything to his characters and to the truth of the human spirit they represented."
