Why I Still Love Retro Gaming (Even After Everything) Retro gaming wasn’t always loud, competitive, or expensive. It began as something small, simple, and personal — a quiet love for the games that shaped us. But somewhere along the way, the hobby changed. It exploded into the mainstream, prices skyrocketed, collectors clashed, and the joy of playing was replaced by the pressure to own, display, and outperform. In this video, I take a step back and look at what happened. Retro gaming has been through a lot. Some of it beautiful. Some of it messy. Some of it downright ridiculous. But beneath all the noise, the heart of the hobby is still there, the joy of playing the games we grew up with, the stories they carry, and the memories they still spark. This is a reflection on where retro gaming came from, how it lost its way, and why I still believe the future can be brighter, calmer, and more authentic. 📬/ peak.retro.official@gmail.com https://www.youtube.com/@Peak.Retro.Official htt
