ITV’s gripping true crime drama 'Believe Me' delved into the case of one of Britain's most prolific sex offenders, and the group of women who fought to get justice. Believe Me tells the story of black cab rapist John Worboys, who preyed on women who trusted him as a licensed taxi driver, as well as the shocking Met Police failings that meant he was allowed to continue reoffending for years, despite multiple victims coming forward. Worboys was finally convicted in 2009 for sexual assaults against 12 women; though police estimate he preyed on more than 100.
