In this talk, Yutong Li shares her journey from feeling trapped by the label of being a junior college student to gradually rebuilding confidence through further study, an exchange experience in Taiwan, content creation, internships, and graduate school. Her story reflects the anxiety many young people feel when they seem to be moving slower than others. She invites us to stop defining ourselves by one setback, step into new environments, and trust that blooming later—or more slowly—is still a valid and powerful way to grow. Yutong Li, also known online as “Li Baxi,” is a content creator and graduate student based in Beijing. She is currently completing her master’s degree at City University of Macau. Her journey took her from vocational college to a bachelor’s program, an exchange experience in Taiwan, and graduate school.
