Small business families are being treated like they are doing something wrong, when in reality they are doing what they have always done to survive. Working together. Sacrificing together. Carrying the load together. What the government don't seem to understand is that in a small business, the family is often the engine. The calls after hours, the bookkeeping, the admin, the emotional support, the weekends, the missed time, the financial risk. That's all real work, even when it doesn't show up neatly on a payroll summary. Small business families have built a huge part of this country. They should not be painted like tax cheats for trying to keep more of what they worked so hard to create.
