Spider-Noir review — Nicolas Cage delivers everything I wanted from this perfect Spider-Man spinoff, and now I need more Spider-Verse shows like this. In this non-spoiler review, I’m sharing my thoughts on Spider-Noir, the new Spider-Man spinoff series starring Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly / The Spider. Set in a 1930s noir-inspired version of New York, the series follows an aging private investigator with spider-like powers who is forced to confront his past and step back into the role of a hero. And honestly? Spider-Noir is everything I needed it to be. This series is a perfect way to continue the Spider-Verse brand while expanding the world of Spider-Man into a completely different genre. The tone is exactly what you would hope for: moody, stylish, gritty, mysterious, pulpy, and full of noir atmosphere. It does not feel like a generic superhero show. It feels like a true detective story, a classic noir crime thriller, and a Spider-Man spinoff all wrapped into one. For me, Nicolas C
