Bungie announced that June 9th will be the last day Destiny 2 receives a content update, ending nearly a decade of live-service development. I have a lot of thoughts. This one is less structured than my usual stuff — more of a stream of consciousness on the mismanagement, the missed opportunities, and what I think should have happened. But also what this franchise has meant to me personally, and why I'll always be grateful for it.
