A review of Lacrosse 26 from the perspective of a sports gamer who doesn't follow Lacrosse. Also, I add my thoughts on the controversial topic of AI and video game development. Lacrosse video games have never really had their mainstream moment. Blast Lacrosse was the first console lacrosse game, an arcade title that was called an “epic failure” by Lacrosse All Stars back in the day. College Lacrosse 2010 released 8 years later, and this game actually had a solid foundation. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it was the first lacrosse game someone who's into lacrosse might actually want to play. That series went on for a few years then died. A half decade went by and then Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 released, developed by Big Ant Studios and Crosse Studios, and Crosse Studios is essentially Carlo Sunseri, the developer of this game.
