Now, in Part 2, I’m looking back at Toy Story 2, a sequel that takes the emotional foundation of the first film and deepens it into something even more painful, mature, and human. My thesis for this video is simple: Toy Story 2 taught me how to love, even when I know it will eventually hurt. When we first meet Jessie, she is not just another toy. She is someone who has already been loved, already been left behind, and already learned how painful it can be to care about someone who eventually moves on.
