Joe Sedelmaier, the award-winning advertising director who used humor to help sell his products, has died at 92. He directed nearly 1000 commercials over the course of his career, often using people who weren’t actors, and it was his Wendy’s commercial that created a cultural phenomenon with the phrase, “Where’s the beef?” For Sunday TODAY, NBC’s Hallie Jackson remembers a life well lived.
