Iran has denied that a deal to end the war with the US is imminent, after US officials said they were closing in on a deal. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said an agreement could come as soon as Monday, but Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said “It is true that a consensus was reached on many of the topics discussed, but no one can claim that the signing of an agreement is imminent.” Turkish police entered the headquarters of the main opposition CHP party following a court decision last week, that removed Ozgur Ozel as its leader. The move deepens a political crisis that saw a market selloff last week. And Huawei says it's made a breakthrough in making advanced semiconductors without cutting-edge equipment, potentially reducing the gap with industry leader TSMC.
