The Arlington Ladies have attended every funeral at Arlington Cemetery since 1948, making sure that no fallen soldier is ever laid to rest alone, and that every service member is honored and remembered. The volunteer group attends more than 20 funerals a day, delivering handwritten notes to family members and loved ones. Reporting for TODAY, NBC’s Laura Jarrett spoke with Rose Duvall, a Gold Star Mother and Arlington Lady, one of the extraordinary women who says that “every day at Arlington is Memorial Day.”
