Fishing communities along Iran's southern coast are struggling to recover after months of US-Israeli strikes devastated the region's maritime infrastructure. On Qeshm Island alone, around 170 of more than 410 boats were destroyed, with hundreds of crew members left without work. Across Hormozgan Province, home to over 60,000 fishermen, docks, fuel depots and storage facilities were repeatedly struck. Many fishermen remain too fearful to venture far offshore, while seafood markets report sharply falling sales. Al Jazeera's Tohid Asadi reports from Qeshm Island, Iran.
