Could EU-imposed tariffs on China-made electric vehicles kill Europe's green future? As Professor Xie Tao, the dean of the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University, puts it in The Global Debate: Who Shapes the Future, the EU should have gone green with EVs, but instead, it has chosen to go green with envy. For his part, American journalist Lee Camp argues cars account for only 15% of EU carbon dioxide emissions. He believes the changes happening with a few of those cars will not kill the EU's green revolution.
