A passenger who survived a a hit-and-run crash which claimed the life of his brother and severely injured his father in Darwin's south-east is vowing to appeal the "light" sentence handed to the man behind the wheel. Christian Mpongo failed to stop and help when he crashed head-on with another car in Palmerston a year ago. The Northern Territory Supreme Court sentenced him to three years' behind bars, but could be released in six months. Courtney Barrett Peters has this report in ABC News Northern Territory.
