Israel has issued an unprecedented forced evacuation order covering the entirety of Tyre, the largest population centre in southern Lebanon, affecting tens of thousands of residents. The order, issued via social media, follows a similar blanket evacuation of Nabatieh just 24 hours earlier. On the ground, residents described scenes of panic, with people rushing to supermarkets and pharmacies closing. The orders come despite a ceasefire nominally in place, as Israel simultaneously expands its ground operations beyond a 10-kilometre security zone, occupying at least 55 towns and villages. Lebanon is experiencing its worst humanitarian crisis on record, with over one million people displaced. Al Jazeera's Obaida Hito reports from Tyre, Lebanon.
