“It's actually quite a harrowing situation that 51 per cent of those who have taken out these loans to access higher education are turning around and saying, 'actually, no, I was misled, I was sold a lie.'” After a Select Committee consultation found that over 50 per cent of graduates regret taking out student finance, it is clear students are being “mis-sold” loans, says National Union of Students president Amira Campbell.
