As Canada continues to deepen ties with Europe, the federal government announced negotiations are underway with Swedish company Saab to acquire its GlobalEye airborne early warning aircraft. The Bombardier jet contains Saab's radar and sensors and is manufactured at the company's plant in Toronto.
