Tata Motors has launched the updated 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV in India, signalling a stronger push towards affordable electric mobility as EV demand continues to rise across the country. The new Tiago lineup arrives with refreshed styling, upgraded interiors, enhanced technology, and petrol, CNG, as well as electric powertrain options. Tata Motors says the Tiago EV has been aggressively priced to make EV adoption more accessible for Indian buyers. Speaking to NDTV Profit, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles MD & CEO Shailesh Chandra said EV bookings have surged significantly in recent months amid rising fuel prices and changing consumer preferences.
