“What we are seeing is an erasure of the contribution of Jewish culture to the UK and a diminution of Jewish life in the UK.” The British Museum is facing backlash for postponing an ‘Ancient History of Israel and Judah’ event over protest concerns, instead of increasing security, the museum “essentially gave them [protesters] a heckler’s veto”, says the shadow attorney general, Lord David Wolfson KC. Lord David Wolfson KC was speaking to Kait Borsay on The Evening Edition on Times Radio. Listen live every Monday to Thursday from 7–10pm.
