The United States moved a naval fleet into the Caribbean on the same day the Department of Justice announced charges against former Cuban President Raul Castro. Cuba's President Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned the indictment and called it a "political stunt.” For more than six decades, the US has imposed sanctions on Cuba. In January, President Trump escalated tensions by threatening tariffs on countries supplying Cuba with fuel, cutting off critical shipments from Venezuela and Mexico. #Heat #Cuba #Havana #RaulCastro #USEmbargo #Trump #Rubio Guests: Carlos Alzugaray served as a Cuban Ambassador to Brussels and was a Professor of International Relations at the University of Havana.
