Kenyan court halts plans for US to open Ebola quarantine facility

A Kenyan court has temporarily suspended US plans to open its own Ebola quarantine facility. [Subscribe to our Substack newsletter: https://channel4news.substack.com/subscribe] The US wanted a centre in Kenya for American citizens who might have been exposed to the virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo or Uganda, rather than flying them back to the States. But a rights group brought a challenge to the court arguing that this could cause "grave” risks to public health.
