Barcelona’s iconic Sagrada Família is reaching a historic milestone with the inauguration of its long-awaited Jesus Christ tower, bringing Antoni Gaudí’s vision closer than ever to completion. But the final phase of construction comes with a difficult reality: plans to finish the basilica’s grand entrance could require demolishing entire residential blocks and relocating up to thousands of people who live there.
