Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari marked a major milestone in the strategically significant Zojila Tunnel project by triggering the breakthrough blast at the East Portal in Minamarg, Drass. The breakthrough connects excavation fronts from the Kashmir and Ladakh sides, bringing the 13.15-km tunnel closer to completion. Once operational, the tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity between Kashmir and Ladakh, drastically reduce travel time across the avalanche-prone Zojila Pass, strengthen defence logistics, and boost tourism and economic activity in the region. #NitinGadkari #ZojilaTunnel #Drass #Minamarg #Ladakh #Kashmir #Infrastructure #Highways #Connectivity #NHIDCL #IndiaInfrastructure #RoadTransport #StrategicProject #BorderInfrastructure Thank you for watching our video!
