Cyclist Colin Appleton suffered life-changing injuries after crashing his bike into fly-tipped rubbish on a country lane in 2024. The collision left him with such severe head injuries that surgeons had to remove a quarter of his skull and he was given a 10% chance of survival. Colin spent three weeks in a coma and when he woke up he didn't know his own children's names. He is no longer able to work or drive. He is now calling for fly-tippers who cause accidents to be banned from driving and made to retake their driving tests. He joins us alongside his daughter Ciarra.
