As World Cup fever grips football fans, a different kind of match kicked off in Beijing's Haidian District. Humanoid robots took to the field in China's first football tournament for secondary-school robot teams. The "Hao Ye" team from the High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China beat the "Aurora" team from the Experimental School Affiliated to Haidian Teachers Training College in a 2-1 victory.
