Leaders under the broad-based government have accused their counterparts in the opposition of inciting youth into protests, saying they lack a development record and are resorting to street demonstrations for political gain. Moses Wetangula, who led a team in Vihiga County, called on Kenyans to shun divisive politics and embrace peace and development. Separately, Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi and Gladys Wanga led a grassroots mobilization event in Homa Bay County where they condemned the opposition over protests held on Thursday.
