France's prolonged heatwave has now claimed the life of a fourth child, while the overall death toll continues to rise. In Paris, an adult man was found unresponsive in the Canal Saint-Martin after reportedly swimming outside the designated area. As Europe's most severe heatwave on record continues, hospitals are admitting growing numbers of patients and emergency departments remain under intense pressure.
