A female police officer who had her nose broken during an assault at Manchester Airport has told Sky News she’s frustrated that the incident was used to question whether women should serve in the police. PC Lydia Ward said she’d never been more frightened than during the attack by Mohammed Fahir Amaaz in July 2024. He has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison. Lydia has been speaking in a broadcast exclusive to Sky’s Greg Milam. #skynews #police #crime #manchester #attack SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@skynews For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-news/id316391924?mt=8 Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bskyb.skynews
