An Ottawa court has released video footage capturing the fatal Barrhaven hit-and-run that claimed the life of crossing guard Peter Clark earlier this year. CTV's Katie Griffin reports that the footage from the intersection of Cedarview Road and Kennevale Drive is a key piece of evidence in the trial of 19-year-old Xzander Wright; Prime Minister Mark Carney is launching a national design competition to restore 24 Sussex Drive after the gutted 34-room mansion sat empty for over a decade. CTV's Katelyn Wilson reports that the government plans to fund the approximately $50-million project through a non-partisan donation campaign led by the Rideau Hall Foundation; and Lalande Conservation Park in Orléans is gradually reopening after a family of coyotes attacked a 14-year-old boy riding his bike earlier this month. CTV's Natalie van Rooy speaks with Ottawa resident Joanne Drouin, who says the incident was stressful and the neighbourhood remains on edge. Subscribe to CTV News to watch more v
