OC Transpo passengers faced more delays this morning after a software issue at the St. Laurent Boulevard garage prevented some electric buses from fully charging overnight. CTV's Kimberley Johnson reports that Amalgamated Transit Union Local 279 president Noah Vineberg says there was a scramble to get operators to different locations to minimize the impact on riders. Rider Vanessa Poaps says the unreliability is exhausting, while transit officials note they used the Pinecrest garage to increase the number of available buses. The transit agency confirms the charging system has returned to normal and staff will review the response to improve future contingencies.
