Jill Smokler, the Scary Mommy blogger who opened up about her own trials and tribulations of motherhood and sparked an entirely new conversation for parents around the world, has died at 48. Smokler started writing her blog about the imperfections of parenthood in 2008 and it became a runway hit, inspiring two bestselling books.
