Teenage hoons on motorbikes and scooters have been terrorising Hillwood Reserve in Holyoake south of Perth for months, tearing up the oval and threatening locals even during children's sports training sessions. Parents of Mandurah City FC players, some as young as seven, are now too afraid to leave their children at weekend sport, with one person threatened with a knife and police response times reaching 40 minutes. The club has been forced to cancel or relocate games due to damage and is calling on council to install fencing to keep the hoons out.
