Venezuelan residents and volunteer rescue workers have been clawing away rubble from collapsed apartment buildings as the government faces a backlash over their response. Venezuela's interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez was booed during a visit to a neighbourhood in the capital Caracas that had been badly affected by the natural disaster. She's thanked the international community for the significant outpouring of aid and assistance. Close to seven million people may have been impacted by the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Thursday, leaving more than 1,400 dead according to a projection by the International Organization for Migration.
