"If one day I am needed on the front line, I will be the first aircraft there." For People's Liberation Army Air Force Y-20 captain Zhang Peng, those aren't just words, they're a promise he lives by. One of the first pilots selected to transition to China's largest domestically developed strategic transport aircraft, Zhang has spent nearly a decade flying missions ranging from emergency relief and humanitarian assistance to long-range overseas deployments. In 2025, he helped deliver Chinese rescue teams and emergency supplies to earthquake-hit Myanmar. Today, he has taken on another important mission – preparing the next generation. As a flight instructor, Zhang is passing on not only his flying skills, but also the discipline, responsibility and sense of duty that define a military pilot. #PledgesInAction #Y20 #PLA #AirForce #China #cpc105 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDm
