Young players in the nation's capital are closely watching Ottawa-born soccer star Jonathan David as he competes for Team Canada at the FIFA World Cup. CTV's Kimberley Johnson visits a watch party at the Gloucester Hornets Soccer Club where youth player Nicolas Somon says he feels proud to play on the same field David once touched. Gloucester Hornets representative Jay Da Costa notes that David is a massive inspiration who played for the club from age 9 until 18 before moving to European teams like Juventus. The club hosted the packed event inside its clubhouse, known as the Hornets Nest, to show local youth what is possible through hard work and determination.
