A remarkable rescue unfolded in Venezuela after a mother and her 18-day-old baby were found alive beneath the rubble of a collapsed apartment building, 32 hours after two powerful earthquakes devastated the country. Dayana Patiño and her newborn son, Juan David Trujillo, were rescued from the wreckage in La Guaira before being transported to a hospital in Caracas, where both were reported to be in stable condition. Their survival has become a symbol of hope as rescue teams continue searching for thousands of people still missing following the devastating 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
