Labour leadership frontrunner Andy Burnham has set out his initial ideas for leadership in his first major speech, saying "Westminster is broken" and promising to "fix politics". Speaking in Manchester on Monday, Burnham pledged to "do things differently" and called for "good growth in every British postcode" as he set out his plans for a more devolved approach to governing. Burnham said he was "worried" about what he saw in Westminster and particularly Whitehall, saying the civil service is pulling in different directions. He launched his idea of a "No 10 in the North", with "an extended operation" based in Manchester that focuses on extending devolution not just in the North, but across the country. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Facebook: h
