This speaker is sharing his experience teaching in Ukraine in this speech, and what it is like to live in a war zone James Morgan is a writer and teacher. Their childhood was spread out across the USA, Nicaragua, China, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. They have a masters in Literature from Harvard University. They finished their first novel in 2025 and are letting it gather some dust before they seek publication. They are currently working on a second book, partially inspired by their experience growing up in Eastern Europe and teaching in Ukraine during the war. James approaches the teaching as a collaboration between teachers and students. They believe that students should play a major role in deciding what they are taught.
