An arson attack on a home in Hope Island, Gold Coast, has left two people with life-threatening burns who were rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. An offender allegedly set the Sickle Avenue property alight just before midnight, causing a ferocious blaze that required 15 firefighters to extinguish and resulted in partial structural collapse.
