A wave of financial changes kicks in today as the new financial year begins, reshaping wages, tax and super for every Australian. The minimum wage rises to $26.44 an hour, super must now be paid at the same time as wages, and contributions must reach funds within seven business days. Paid parental leave expands to 26 weeks, with partner‑reserved days increasing to 20.
