A world-first program led by Associate Professor Emily Reeve from the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to train 7,000 healthcare workers to safely help patients reduce unnecessary medications, beginning with opioids and sleeping tablets. The goal is to reduce medication-related harm while ensuring patients only stop medicines under professional supervision.
