A man enjoying a relaxing summer day of paddleboarding had it turned into a nightmare when he was bitten by the UK's only venomous snake. Zak felt sharp 'unbearable' stabbing sensation on his left ankle and then noticed a snake on his heel - he knew he needed help - but had to paddle for two hours back to his car. Doctors said he was lucky the adder was young as an adult bite could have been worse. Zak Brown, who was bitten by the adder, and GP Dr Sara Kayat join Ranvir Singh and Ed Balls to discuss.
