U.S. President Donald Trump's administration says it won't extend the trilateral trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, known as CUSMA. July 1 was the deadline for each country to declare whether it wanted to extend the agreement to 2042 or renegotiate its terms. The decision does not end the agreement but triggers a new round of negotiations among the three countries.
