Kookaburras draw feathered spectators as they are 'locked in battle' #news #australia #birds #animals #fighting #kookaburra #sydney A pair of duelling kookaburras appeared to be staging their own MMA bout for a flock of curious myna birds who gathered around, with a Sydney woman documenting the intense battle. Roxy Rogan told Storyful she was driving home on April 4, when she heard “a lot of noisy mynas going crazy.” “At first I assumed they were going off at a local cat, but when I looked through my car window, I saw two kookaburras completely locked in a battle on the ground. “My first instinct was to jump out of the car and scare them off to break up the fight. I stepped out of the car to get a better look from a safe distance so I didn’t interfere with their behaviour,” she told Storyful. The video shows two kookaburras locking beaks and trying to twist each other over. The pair are surrounded by myna birds, who Rogan said were “acting like referees” as they watched on. Con
