The Longji Rice Terraces in south China's Guangxi are renowned for their magnificent scenery and unique cultural value. Julian Waghann from the United States and Eliza Arce from the Philippines arrived at the cloud-wrapped Longji Rice Terraces to take part in the most solemn annual farming festival: the Shuyang Festival. From the moment they stepped onto the terraces, they walked along the narrow ridges, joined the ancient seedling-combing ritual, sampled distinctive local cuisine, and lifted torches at nightfall to parade and pray with the villagers through the shimmering paddies. Through these vivid scenes, they gradually came to understand the centuries-old symbiotic relationship between the local people and the terraces. The Longji Rice Terraces are not just a breathtaking agricultural panorama – they are a mountain lifestyle and a cultural experience that still breathes today. 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https:
